Physiotherapy after Knee Replacement Surgery

In this video you will find out how quickly the PHYSIOTHERAPY team at the Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust start working with patients to get them back on their feet again after their knee replacement operation.

We aim to begin post-op physiotherapy as soon as possible as it is important to get a new knee to promote good blood flow and to help the recovery process by regaining movement and muscle strength. At Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust we expect that our patients should be out of bed and walking with a frame or crutches within 24 hours of their operation, tough care is always adjusted to meet the needs of each individual patient.
